Search results for "is Mulebuy legit" mix up three things. Legit asks whether Mulebuy is a real company that did what it said. Safe asks whether money you send today is likely to come back as a parcel. Legal asks whether you can be in trouble for using it. Evidence that Mulebuy was a real, working agent
Mulebuy appeared in 2024, soon after Pandabuy was raided, and grew quickly. By June 2026 World Trademark Review, a publication that follows brand protection rather than promoting agents, described it as the agent most buyers had moved to. Its Trustpilot profile was claimed by the company in May 2024 and reached 4.7 out of 5 from 2,962 reviews, with 1,804 of those in the last twelve months. The company replied to about 56% of negative reviews.
The apps are published under company names you can look up: the iPhone app by Hong Kong Yu Xin International Trade Co., Limited and the Android app by Mulebuy Inc. Its terms were simple and competitive: a 0% purchasing commission, 90 days of free storage and free QC photos, with returns requested within about five days of an item reaching the warehouse. Reviewers repeatedly praised how quickly the photos arrived and how well parcels were packed.
The record before August 2026 is what a legitimate, popular agent looks like.
What changed in August 2026
From about 9 August, community posts described a raid and sealing of Mulebuy's warehouse. The r/FashionReps moderators published a journal with photos but labelled the cause as rumoured. No authority, court record or Mulebuy statement has confirmed it. What is not rumour is the change in buyers' own accounts. Reading Mulebuy's newest Trustpilot reviews on 4 October 2026, the pattern from 13 August onward is consistent:
- orders stuck at "seller shipped" or "being packaged" for a month or more;
- items marked as destroyed in the warehouse after a shipping request;
- a withdrawal requested on 4 August, taken from the balance, not received by 21 August;
- live chat, tickets and email answered only by an automated message.
The last review we found was posted on 11 September 2026. Silence after a burst of complaints is not good news: it usually means fewer people are still placing orders. Is it legal to buy through Mulebuy, or any agent?
A shopping agent is a buying and forwarding service, and using one is legal in the US, the UK and the EU. Customs law cares about what is in the parcel. Goods that infringe a trademark can be detained and destroyed at the border in all three. Italy goes further than most: under article 1, paragraph 7 of decree-law 35/2005, a final buyer who acquires goods that, from their price or the seller, suggest a trademark has been infringed can be fined from €100 to €7,000. A 2022 addition (paragraph 7-bis) applies the same fine to buyers who bring in such goods from outside the EU, up to 20 pieces or 5 kg, and charges the buyer for storage and destruction.

Mulebuy look-alikes and fake support
Every agent in the news attracts copies, and Mulebuy is no exception. Within days of the August reports, buyers described three patterns: look-alike domains on other endings, emails claiming to process refunds, and social-media accounts offering to "release" parcels for a fee. The real site is mulebuy.com; its apps are the ones published under the company names above. Mulebuy will not message you first on Instagram or Telegram asking for payment.

What would make Mulebuy safe again
We will move Mulebuy back to Working only on evidence: a statement from the company explaining the delays, buyers reporting delivered parcels and paid withdrawals after August, and support replying to tickets with real answers. A site that loads and a promotion banner are not enough. Until then, the honest description is the one on our status board: reported, not confirmed, not safe for new money.
